PHOENIX Project
PHOENIX Project „Adapt-&-Play Holistic cOst-Effective and user-frieNdly Innovations with high replicability to upgrade smartness of eXisting buildings with legacy equipment“ (Horizon 2020 programme, grant agreement No 893079). Smart ways to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings:
Europe’s existing building stock needs an energy efficiency makeover that qualifies them to manage and optimise their energy consumption, production and storage. The EU-funded PHOENIX project will design the necessary hardware and software upgrades and make use of artificial intelligence technologies as well as edge/cloud computing methods to transform existing buildings into smart buildings. The many smart upgrades will be tested in in five different pilots across four EU member states: Ireland, Greece, Sweden and Spain. The project's key deliverable will be a portfolio of ICT solutions capable of providing intelligence to legacy systems and appliances in existing buildings.

ACCEPT Project
ACCEPT Project "Empowering communities in the energy transition" (Horizon 2020 programme, grant aggreement No 957781). The Core of ACCEPT is the concept of “energy communities” with the collective approach to bring citizens, local businesses and organizations together to produce and consume, locally generated, renewable energy. The EU-funded project intends to develop and deliver a digital toolbox, that allows such energy communities to offer innovative digital services to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels, save energy in the users households and thus be able to reduce their electricity bill without compromising the quality of living, but ideally increasing the comfort in their homes through smart devices. In ACCEPT these developed tools will be demonstrated and validated in four pilot sites in Greece, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland involving more than 3.000 people and 750 residences.

Climate School LMU
This is the website of the first Climate School at LMU, which took place in September 2021. The school was addressed to LMU students, and offered an interdisciplinary program on the issues posed by Climate Change with contributions from different areas, such as geography, law, economics, mathematics and social sciences. In total around 90 students took part at this school. The website was mainly used by students and lecturers taking part in the school.

The objective of SMEmPower Efficiency project is to “empower” SMEs to undergo energy audits and implement their recommendations, increasing their energy efficiency.
